The only hope for mankind is the mystery of the incarnation. God took on human form in order to save us. Only Saint Mary is capable of playing the role of becoming God’s mother. In the Holy Gospels, the angel is quoted as saying, “Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” She embodies those words. She is pure, gracious, and full of humility. We think back to Blessed Mary’s words in Luke, “For behold, from this time forward all generations shall call me blessed.”
